Caden Ruben dies in fatal Schuyler County car crash

Fatal Schuyler County car crash death of Caden Ruben – Obituary

Caden Ruben, an 18-year-old from Spencer, was identified as the young man who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday night in Schuyler County. The crash took place around 9:30 p.m. on State Route 224.

According to New York State Police, Ruben was driving a 2024 Ford Explorer westbound when he lost control while navigating a curve. The vehicle veered off the north side of the road, struck a tree, flipped over, and caught fire. Ruben, who was alone in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
