Isaiah Hunter dies in fatal Hunterdon County crash

Fatal Hunterdon County crash death of Isaiah Hunter – Obituary

Isaiah Hunter, a 49-year-old man from Plainfield, lost his life early Thursday morning in a devastating single-car accident on Interstate 78 in Clinton Township. New Jersey State Police reported that the incident occurred at approximately 2:13 a.m. near mile marker 21.8 on the westbound side of the highway.

Preliminary findings indicate that Hunter was driving a Hyundai Kona when the vehicle veered off the left side of the road, hit a tree, overturned, and caught fire. Emergency responders arrived on scene shortly after the crash but found Hunter had already suffered fatal injuries.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Additional details have not yet been released.
