Jay Wood, a 58-year-old resident of Milton, Wisconsin, lost his life following a three-vehicle accident that took place in Beloit on May 19. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A medical examination conducted on May 20 confirmed that his death was due to injuries sustained in the collision.

Authorities say the crash occurred around 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of Madison Road. A blue sedan driven by a 46-year-old man from Beloit struck the rear of a tan sedan. The impact forced the tan vehicle into the path of an oncoming car, resulting in a secondary collision.

The man driving the blue sedan has been cited multiple times and may face additional legal consequences as the investigation remains active.
