Fatal Lapwai car crash death of Louie Harris – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed that Louie Harris, who had been reported missing since May 17, was found deceased in a car crash near Lapwai, Idaho. The Nez Perce Tribal Police and Nez Perce County Deputies discovered Harris’s body on May 19 inside a vehicle that had gone off an embankment along Wild Rose Grade.

Investigators stated that the crashed vehicle matched the description of the one Harris was last seen driving. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement confirmed that Harris had died inside the car. His family was promptly notified.

Prior to the discovery, officials had reached out to the public for assistance in locating Harris, who was last seen in Lewiston, Idaho, two days before the crash.
