Peter Roberts dies in fatal Woodstock car crash

Fatal Woodstock car crash death of Peter Roberts – Obituary

Peter Roberts, a 35-year-old man from McHenry, lost his life in a solo vehicle accident on the morning of May 20 in Woodstock, Illinois.

According to the McHenry County Coroner’s Office, Roberts sustained fatal blunt-force trauma to his head and chest when his pickup truck crashed in the 13600 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road. Emergency crews from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District arrived at the scene around 7:51 a.m. and found the vehicle wrapped around a tree in a residential yard. Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities including the Woodstock Police Department and McHenry County accident investigators are continuing to examine the cause of the crash.
