Fatal Washington County shooting deaths of Adam M. Darrah and Marcus J. Macaulay – Obituary

Adam M. Darrah and Marcus J. Macaulay, both 19 and residents of Glens Falls, lost their lives Thursday night in a shooting incident in rural Fort Ann, Washington County.

The New York State Police and Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9 p.m. to reports of gunfire near Clay Hill Road. Upon arrival, officers found both teens lying in the roadway with critical gunshot injuries.

The victims were rushed to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

Authorities have confirmed that a suspect in the shooting is currently in custody. While further details and potential charges have not yet been disclosed, law enforcement officials say more information will be provided as the investigation progresses.
