Authorities in Cass County have confirmed that 68-year-old Andrew Grant of Fargo lost his life after a tragic accident on May 20 in Chaffee, North Dakota. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Grant had been working beneath a vehicle when the equipment supporting it gave way, causing the vehicle to fall and fatally trap him underneath.

Deputies found Grant deceased at the scene. The incident remains under investigation, and officials are awaiting the results of a full autopsy being conducted by the University of North Dakota’s Forensic Pathology and Autopsy Service.
