Daniela Lamont Tucker dies in fatal Spartanburg shooting

Fatal Spartanburg shooting death of Daniela Lamont Tucker – Obituary

Daniela Lamont Tucker, a 36-year-old resident of Spartanburg, was fatally shot while mowing his lawn on Logan Street Saturday evening.

Spartanburg Police said they were called to the scene around 7:45 p.m., where they found Tucker suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses stated that a group of individuals approached him and opened fire after a heated exchange.

Emergency services rushed Tucker to Spartanburg Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead at 8:11 p.m., according to the county coroner.

Investigators reported seeing at least four men speaking with Tucker shortly before shots were fired. These same individuals were observed fleeing the scene immediately following the incident.

The Spartanburg Police Department, along with the county coroner’s office, continue to investigate and are working to identify the suspects involved.
