Gay Rothacher dies in fatal Jackson Township car crash

Fatal Jackson Township car crash death of Gay Rothacher – Obituary

Gay Rothacher, a 55-year-old resident of Bolivar, lost her life in a deadly car crash that occurred in Jackson Township. The accident happened at the intersection of Wales Avenue and Strausser Street NW.

According to the Stark County Coroner’s Office, Rothacher was declared deceased at the scene at 11:35 a.m. on May 22, as confirmed by death investigator Tammy Wilkes.

Authorities were notified of the incident at 10:48 a.m., and the Jackson Township Police Department reported that the collision involved two vehicles and three individuals in total.

One of the other people involved was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton for medical attention, while another was treated at the site of the accident.

Investigators have not released additional information, and the case is still under active investigation.
