Hannah Moody, 31, was found dead Thursday after going missing during a hike in Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve, authorities confirmed. She was last seen Wednesday morning near the Gateway Trailhead area. Search teams discovered her body after an extensive effort.

Moody’s father described her as an experienced hiker who was well-prepared for the weather conditions. Scottsdale police have indicated there are no signs of foul play, but the investigation remains open.
