Hendry Aceituno Gudiño, an 18-year-old Boca Raton High School graduate, lost his life in a tragic single-vehicle crash on I-95 in Martin County just hours after his graduation ceremony. Aceituno was returning home from a celebration dinner with his girlfriend and her father when the accident occurred on May 17. Both Aceituno and the girlfriend’s father were declared dead at the scene, while the girlfriend survived with non-life-threatening injuries.

Aceituno’s mother, Anielka Gudiño, spoke exclusively about the heartbreaking loss of her son, describing him as full of life and having a bright future ahead. She shared her sorrow over the sudden tragedy and expressed the pain of losing her only child. Aceituno’s family, originally from Venezuela, moved to Florida in 2023 hoping for a better life.

Friends and loved ones remember Hendry as kind, hardworking, and loving. Boca Raton High School community sent condolences and offered grief support to students and faculty during this difficult time.
