Fatal Lubbock County rollover crash death of Jennifer Ritter – Obituary

Jennifer Ritter, 73, from Wilson, Texas, lost her life in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Lubbock County on Friday morning.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on U.S. 87, just north of FM 41. Ritter was driving her 2016 Honda CRV northbound when the vehicle veered off the road, entered an east-side ditch, and struck a dirt embankment. The SUV then rolled over and came to rest upside down.

Ritter sustained critical injuries and was transported to University Medical Center, where she later passed away. Officials reported she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, and no other passengers were involved. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is still underway.
