Fatal Baton Rouge shooting death of Kevin Jackson – Obituary

Kevin Jackson, 26, lost his life in a shooting incident early Thursday morning at an apartment complex on Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge. A woman was also seriously injured in the same attack and is reported to have life-threatening wounds.

The shooting took place around 5:41 a.m. at the Avalon Apartments near Windsor Drive, according to Baton Rouge EMS and police reports. Despite efforts to save him, Jackson succumbed to his injuries at the scene or shortly thereafter.
