Lincoln Carona, a 4-year-old child, tragically lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on February 18 in Lincoln County, Mississippi.

The crash occurred on Bogue Chitto Road, and Carona later died at the University of Mississippi Medical Center due to injuries sustained in the accident.

On May 17, Devin Merrill, who was the driver involved and the boyfriend of Carona’s mother, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI.

Merrill was released on a $100,000 bond with the condition of wearing an ankle monitor if released. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
