Nicholas Winfield Smith, a 43-year-old resident of Harker Heights, Texas, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 35 in Schertz on Wednesday evening.

According to the Schertz Police Department, the collision occurred around 7:36 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-35 near Farm-to-Market 3009 and Cibolo Valley Drive. When authorities arrived on the scene, they found Smith lying on the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the location.

Police have not yet determined what caused the crash, and the incident is still under investigation. Officials also stated that the specific cause and manner of Smith’s death have not yet been confirmed.
