Fatal Milwaukee shooting death of Zakiy Robertson – Obituary

Zakiy Robertson, a 19-year-old man, was fatally shot Wednesday night, May 22, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and North Avenue in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee police responded to the area around 8:05 p.m. and found Robertson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed his identity as Zakiy Robertson.

At this time, investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and are looking for unidentified suspect(s).
