Fatal Alexandria shooting death of Corey Brooks – Obituary

Corey Brooks, 17, passed away on Thursday after sustaining gunshot wounds during a shooting that occurred the previous afternoon in Alexandria, Louisiana.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, officers were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday to the 4000 block of Clark Street, located near Lakeside Drive, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals with gunshot injuries.

Two of the victims were reported to have sustained moderate injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Corey Brooks, the third victim, was also hospitalized but succumbed to his injuries on Thursday afternoon.
