[El Paso, TX] Woman Vianney Alyssa Acosta Arrested in El Paso County for Child Endangerment and Drug Possession

 

EL PASO, TX — Vianney Alyssa Acosta, a 20-year-old resident of El Paso, was arrested in El Paso County on May 21 in connection with exposing a one-year-old child to narcotics.

 

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a medical emergency on May 16 involving the child who showed signs of narcotics exposure and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

 

Investigators found that Acosta, the child’s aunt, allegedly left illegal narcotics accessible to the child. Following the investigation and review of medical records, deputies obtained two arrest warrants for Acosta.

 

She was taken into custody on Wednesday, May 21, and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. Acosta currently faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Child Endangerment.
