Glasgow, Scotland Man Alan Brown Arrested in Queen’s Park for Assaulting Woman and Police
GLASGOW, SCOTLAND — Alan Brown, a 46-year-old resident of Glasgow, was arrested in Queen’s Park in connection with an assault that left a woman injured and involved an altercation with police officers.
According to Police Scotland, Brown was taken into custody on Thursday evening following reports of an assault in Queen’s Park around 5:50 p.m. Authorities say the incident involved a 36-year-old woman who was later transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Brown appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, May 23, where he faced multiple charges, including assault to injury, assaulting police, and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. He was also charged with conduct likely to cause fear or alarm.
Brown made no plea and was remanded in custody pending further examination. He is scheduled to return to court within eight days.
