Jeffrey Larson dies in fatal Marshall County car crash

Fatal Marshall County car crash death of Jeffrey Larson – Obituary

Jeffrey Larson, a 78-year-old resident of State Center, Iowa, passed away following a collision involving a utility task vehicle (UTV) and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Marshall County on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of 190th Street and Binford Avenue, just north of State Center. According to the Iowa State Patrol, Larson was operating his UTV and attempted to make a U-turn. During the maneuver, he pulled into the path of an SUV driven by a 16-year-old, resulting in a crash.

Larson was airlifted from the scene to a hospital in Des Moines but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities confirmed that the teenage driver of the SUV was not injured.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol are continuing to investigate the incident.
