Fatal Mineral Wells car crash death of Jose Hernandez – Obituary

Jose Hernandez, a senior at Mineral Wells High School, tragically lost his life in a car accident in North Texas, according to a statement from the Mineral Wells Independent School District. The incident also left two other students injured and hospitalized. Their current conditions and identities have not been disclosed.

 

The school district expressed deep sorrow over the loss, referring to the crash as a “tragic accident.” In response, the high school will open its doors on Sunday, May 25, from noon to 2 p.m. for students and staff seeking support. Grief counselors will be on hand to assist those in need.

 

Additionally, the school’s Baccalaureate service is scheduled for 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with continued support services available afterward at the high school until 6:30 p.m. Counselors will also be present at the school on Tuesday to provide further emotional support.

 

The district urged the community to keep all those affected in their thoughts during this difficult time and emphasized the importance of unity in the face of tragedy.
