Portland, Oregon Woman Quancy Colbert Arrested in Gresham for Apartment Complex Shooting

PORTLAND, OREGON — Quancy Colbert, a 21-year-old resident of Portland, was arrested in Gresham in connection with a shooting that injured a man and endangered residents at an apartment complex.

According to the Gresham Police Department, Colbert was taken into custody on Thursday after allegedly firing multiple shots into an apartment complex on Northeast 181st and Pacific Court. Authorities say one bullet grazed the intended male target, who was not seriously injured. Witnesses reported that several rounds nearly struck other residents, including a child.

Colbert reportedly also threatened another witness with a firearm before fleeing. She was later apprehended and transported to a detention facility. Colbert is currently facing charges of second-degree attempted murder, reckless endangering, criminal mischief, and unlawful use of a weapon.
