Savannah, Georgia Woman Michelle Williams Arrested in Savannah for Fatal Stabbing

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA — Michelle Williams, a 30-year-old resident of Savannah, was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman on the city’s east side.

According to the Savannah Police Department, Williams was taken into custody on Friday afternoon in the 2000 block of Camelia Court off LaRoche Avenue. Authorities say the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., when officers responded to a medical emergency and found the victim with life-threatening injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Williams was transported to a local detention facility and is currently facing charges of murder and aggravated assault related to the incident.
