Verona, Virginia Man Derrick Lee Barbour Arrested in Augusta County for Assault
VERONA, VIRGINIA — Derrick Lee Barbour, a 35-year-old resident of Verona, was arrested in Augusta County in connection with an assault that occurred last weekend.
According to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office, Barbour was taken into custody on Thursday evening during a traffic stop on Lee Highway. Authorities say the incident took place on Saturday and involved an alleged attack on another man.
Barbour was transported to Middle River Regional Jail and is currently facing charges related to the incident.
