Fatal Seattle shooting death of Briaun Keith Dinish-Lomelli – Obituary

Briaun Keith Dinish-Lomelli, a 27-year-old Seattle resident, was one of three victims fatally shot in a tragic incident that occurred in the Pioneer Square area of Seattle during the early morning hours of May 17.

 

According to Seattle police, the shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. near the intersection of 2nd Avenue South and South Main Street, close to the Seattle Fire Department Headquarters. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Dinish-Lomelli, along with 19-year-old Keilani Renae Harris and 24-year-old August Alfred Lastrappe, was pronounced dead on site.

 

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office reported that all three individuals died from multiple gunshot wounds and confirmed their deaths as homicides. A fourth person who was injured in the shooting remains hospitalized and is recovering.

 

The motive behind the violence has not yet been determined, and no suspects are currently in custody. Authorities are seeking assistance from the public and are particularly interested in locating the driver of a black Tesla, believed to be a Model Y, which was seen in the area around the time of the shooting. Investigators think the vehicle may have video evidence that could aid in identifying those responsible.

 

The investigation remains active as police work to bring answers to the families of the victims.
