Fatal Catawba County motorcycle crash death of Django Rosenbaum – Obituary

A tragic accident in Catawba County claimed the life of 24-year-old Django Rosenbaum on Friday night, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

 

The crash occurred around 11:20 p.m. along Hudson Chapel Road near the intersection with Brown Chapel Road. Authorities reported that Rosenbaum was heading west on a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he lost control, veered across the center line, and collided head-on with a 2019 Honda Civic approaching from the opposite direction.

 

Rosenbaum, who was not wearing a helmet at the time, died at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the Civic, 21-year-old Noah Buff, along with two passengers, were unharmed in the crash.

 

Investigators determined that excessive speed played a role in the incident. No charges are expected to be filed in connection with the crash.
