Fort Ann, New York Man David Larose Arrested in Washington County for Double Homicide
FORT ANN, NEW YORK — David Larose, a 20-year-old resident of Albany, was arrested in Washington County in connection with a double-fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night near the New York-Vermont border.
According to New York State Police, Larose was taken into custody just after midnight on Friday following the fatal shooting of 19-year-olds Adam Darrah and Marcus Macaulay, both of Glens Falls. The victims were found with life-threatening gunshot wounds in the roadway outside a home on Clay Hill Road around 9 p.m.
Due to poor weather, helicopters could not be used for medical transport, and the victims were instead taken to Glens Falls Hospital by ambulance, where they were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Larose is facing two counts of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. He was transported to the Washington County Correctional Facility and is scheduled to appear in court Friday evening to face the charges.
