Fatal Seattle shooting death of Keilani Renae Harris – Obituary
Keilani Renae Harris, a 19-year-old Seattle resident, was among three people who lost their lives during a shooting in the Pioneer Square neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Seattle Police responded to calls of gunfire shortly after 1 a.m. on May 17 near 2nd Avenue South and South Main Street, close to the Seattle Fire Department Headquarters. When officers arrived, they discovered that four people had been shot. Harris, along with two men, was declared dead at the scene. A fourth individual is still recovering from their injuries.
According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Harris died from multiple gunshot wounds, and her death has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and have not yet made any arrests. Investigators are asking the public for help identifying a suspect and are specifically seeking the driver of a black Tesla, possibly a Model Y, that was in the area at the time. They believe the vehicle may have captured crucial footage related to the shooting.
Police continue to follow leads in the search for those responsible.
