Royal Oak, Michigan Man Talaj Clark-Spencer Arrested in Clawson for Fatal Shooting

ROYAL OAK, MICHIGAN — Talaj Clark-Spencer, a 21-year-old resident of Royal Oak, was arrested in Clawson in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred late Thursday night.

According to the Clawson Police Department, Clark-Spencer was taken into custody on Saturday morning after initially fleeing the scene. Officers had responded to a report of a shooting near 14 Mile and Renshaw in Clawson, where they discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

The investigation led law enforcement to a residence near Starr Jaycee Park in Royal Oak, where heavily armed officers, including SWAT units, surrounded the area early Friday morning in search of Clark-Spencer.

Clark-Spencer was transported to the appropriate detention facility and is currently facing charges related to the fatal shooting.
