Fatal Barry Island shooting death of Taha Soomro – Obituary

Taha Soomro, aged 16, tragically lost his life at Barry Island Pleasure Park in the Vale of Glamorgan on Friday evening. Authorities reported that Taha suffered a medical episode around 5pm and was declared dead at the location.

The victim, who lived in Grangetown, Cardiff, was at the amusement park when the incident occurred. South Wales Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Taha’s death and have urged the public to refrain from spreading rumors on social media.

On the following day, police confirmed they had detained a 15-year-old boy, also from Grangetown, on suspicion of assault. The teenager remains in custody as inquiries continue.
