Tayshawn Cobb, 18, was tragically killed in a shooting incident that took place on the evening of May 21, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Authorities have charged Manuel Antonio Perez, also 18, with reckless homicide in connection with Cobb’s death.

The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of Pinecrest Drive, where police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Cobb suffering from gunshot wounds and transported him to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Following the incident, Perez was arrested and is currently held at Montgomery County Jail. He was scheduled for a court appearance on Friday. The investigation remains active as local law enforcement continues to gather information about the case.
