Tiffany Carter, 43, from Glennville, tragically lost her life in an early morning hit-and-run accident on Highway 46 near Sams Creek and Hiawatha Road in Candler County.

The Candler County Coroner, Jamie Anderson, confirmed that Carter, believed to have been on foot at the time of the incident, died as a result of the crash. The case remains under active investigation by the Georgia State Patrol, Candler County Sheriff’s Office, and the Coroner’s Office.
