Town of Stephenson, Wisconsin Man Daniel Mrotek Killed in Marinette County Crash That Also Claimed Lives of Two Others
STEPHENSON, WI — Daniel Mrotek, a 60-year-old resident of Berlin, was killed in Marinette County in connection with a fatal two-vehicle crash that also claimed the lives of two Oak Creek residents.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Mrotek was driving west on Moonshine Hill Road on Friday night, May 23, when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a northbound vehicle on County Highway A. The crash occurred around 9:22 p.m. in the Town of Stephenson.
Authorities say Mrotek, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead. The other victims, identified as 71-year-old Thomas Robe and 68-year-old Sharon Robe, were also killed in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
