Fatal Nashville hit-and-run crash death of Caterina R. Hill – Obituary

Caterina R. Hill, a 49-year-old Nashville resident, was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident that occurred over the weekend. Her body was found early Sunday morning around 6 a.m. on N. Thompson Lane, near the curb in front of 845 N. Thompson.

Based on initial findings from the Nashville Police Department’s Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT), Hill had been walking south on N. Thompson Lane when a vehicle, also heading south in the outer lane, fatally hit her. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.

Authorities believe the collision may have happened hours before her body was discovered. The investigation into the identity of the driver and the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
