Fatal Rizal shooting death of Christopher Aron – Obituary

Christopher Aron, 48, a sitting village councilor of Barangay Bagtas in Tanza, Rizal, was fatally shot by unknown assailants riding a motorcycle on the morning of May 18, 2025.

According to police reports, Aron was inside his Toyota Innova at around 10:20 a.m. when the attackers opened fire, striking him four times across his body before fleeing the scene. Aron was rushed to the hospital by his brother and local watchmen but died at approximately 12:30 p.m. during treatment.

Authorities have launched an ongoing investigation to identify the suspects and uncover the motive behind the attack, while a manhunt is underway to apprehend those responsible for the killing.
