Cordele, Georgia Man Rashad Williams Arrested in Houston County for Double Homicide of Mother and Daughter
HOUSTON COUNTY, GEORGIA — Rashad Williams, a 29-year-old resident of Cordele, was arrested in Houston County in connection with the fatal shootings of a mother and daughter early Sunday morning.
According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 6:35 a.m. to the 200 block of Woodland Trail in Warner Robins for a death investigation. Upon arrival, they found two women, later identified as 29-year-old Re’Dashia Boston and 49-year-old Virginia Boston, deceased at the scene. Authorities determined both deaths were homicides.
Williams was identified as a person of interest and was located around 4 p.m. the same day in an abandoned farmhouse in Warwick. He was taken into custody without incident.
Williams was transported to the Houston County Detention Center and is currently facing two counts of murder, with additional charges expected as the investigation continues.
