Nafeece Acquil Jenkins dies in fatal North Philadelphia hit-and-run

Fatal North Philadelphia hit-and-run death of Nafeece Acquil Jenkins – Obituary

Nafeece Acquil Jenkins, 32, tragically lost his life early Sunday morning after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing a street in North Philadelphia.

Philadelphia police reported that Jenkins was attempting to cross the 1200 block of Lehigh Avenue at about 1:44 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle. The force of the collision threw him onto the hood of the car before he fell back onto the roadway, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle involved was later located unattended in a parking lot on the 1200 block of Park Avenue, but the driver fled and remains at large. Authorities have not yet released any descriptions of the suspect and continue to investigate the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information about the driver to come forward as the investigation remains active.
