Wyatt Kilgore dies in fatal Fresno train crash

Fatal Fresno train crash death of Wyatt Kilgore – Obituary

Wyatt Kilgore, 18, of Fresno, lost his life after being hit by a train earlier this month. His identity was officially confirmed by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday.

The incident happened on the morning of May 16 when officers from the Fresno Police Department were called to the area near Herndon and Polk avenues around 10:45 a.m. following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a train.

When police arrived, they found Kilgore at the scene. He had been hit by the train and was pronounced dead on site.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
