Fatal north Phoenix shooting death of Adrian Andrade – Obituary

Adrian Andrade, 33, was killed early Sunday morning during a shooting incident at an apartment complex near 17th Avenue and Bell Road in north Phoenix. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered three adult men with gunshot injuries.

Medical personnel responded, but Andrade was pronounced dead at the location. The two other men were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Phoenix police detained a suspect in connection with the shooting. That individual claimed they acted in self-defense and was released as the investigation continues.

Homicide detectives are leading the ongoing inquiry into the events that led to Andrade’s death. No further details have been released at this time.
