Fatal Harrison County ATV crash death of Anita White – Obituary

Anita White, 74, tragically lost her life in an ATV accident on Memorial Day in Harrison County, West Virginia. The crash occurred while she and Joyce Hardesty, 77, were riding an ATV on a trail roughly a mile from Jones Run Road.

Due to limited cell phone reception in the area, emergency responders were not alerted until about two hours after the accident took place. When help arrived around 4:15 p.m., White was found deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs were involved in the incident.

Fire departments from Folsom, Lumberport, and Wallace, along with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia Medical Examiner, and EMS teams from Harrison and Taylor counties, responded to the crash site. The investigation remains ongoing.
