Bruce Neiswanger dies in fatal McHenry County electric scooter crash

Fatal McHenry County electric scooter crash death of Bruce Neiswanger – Obituary

Bruce Neiswanger, 53, of McHenry, passed away following a serious electric scooter accident that occurred around 10 a.m. on Saturday in the 5000 block of South Wildwood Drive in unincorporated McHenry County. Emergency responders found Neiswanger unconscious and unresponsive at the scene. Despite bystanders performing CPR and his subsequent transport to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, he was pronounced dead Sunday in the intensive care unit.

An autopsy confirmed that Neiswanger died from blunt force trauma sustained in the crash. The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
