Fatal Lake Charles truck crash death of Cody Brock – Obituary

Cody Brock, 35, lost his life when a truck veered off the road and slammed into his home in Lake Charles on Monday morning. The incident occurred around 9:35 a.m. as a Chevrolet Silverado left Madeline Street and crashed into a house on Auburn Street near Common Street.

Brock, the only person inside the residence at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities suspect the elderly driver of the truck may have experienced a medical issue before the crash, although the exact cause is still under investigation. Toxicology tests are pending as part of the ongoing inquiry.
