The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Damian along with Kendall An Fortner, 24, as passengers aboard the Cessna aircraft when it went down.
The tragic crash occurred around 3:45 a.m. near the intersection of Salmon and Sculpin streets, with all victims pronounced deceased at the 10200 block of Sample Street. The crash caused damage to several homes and vehicles in the neighborhood, but fortunately, no residents on the ground were killed. Those injured sustained minor issues, mostly due to smoke exposure or injuries while escaping their homes.
