Fatal McAllen crash death of Gianncarlo Corriabustos – Obituary

Authorities in McAllen have identified 20-year-old Gianncarlo Corriabustos as one of the two individuals who lost their lives in a devastating car accident that occurred on May 17 near the intersection of 2nd Street and Nolana Avenue.

 

The collision involved a Chevrolet Silverado and a Nissan Altima. According to the McAllen Police Department, Corriabustos was a passenger in the Silverado at the time of the crash. The driver of the Altima, 54-year-old Juan Carlos Perez, was also killed.

 

The driver of the Silverado, 40-year-old Dionicio Luna Aguirre, has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter following the incident. Authorities suspect Aguirre was under the influence at the time of the crash. He was hospitalized after the collision and has since been formally arraigned. His bond has been set at $600,000.
