Fatal Wilmington shooting death of Jah’Mir Johnson – Obituary

Jah’Mir Johnson, a 21-year-old man, was killed in a shooting that took place Thursday evening on East 22nd Street in Wilmington, Delaware. Police responded to the scene around 6:44 p.m., where Johnson was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a hospital but later died from his injuries. Alongside Johnson, a 19-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl were also injured in the shooting. Both remain hospitalized and are reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities have not yet released details about the circumstances leading to the shooting. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Joseph Wicks or Delaware Crime Stoppers to aid in the investigation.
