Fatal Adams County car crash death of Luke W. Hedden – Obituary

Luke W. Hedden, a 21-year-old from Mt. Sterling, Illinois, was identified as the individual who lost his life in a single-car accident on Saturday night in Adams County.

The crash occurred along Highway 24 near East 2000th Street. According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that a vehicle had veered off the north side of the roadway and rolled into a deep ravine.

Hedden was found to be the sole occupant of the vehicle. Authorities confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene.
