Fatal south Las Vegas Valley motorcycle crash death of Timothy Edward Muniz – Obituary

Timothy Edward Muniz, 68, passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash that occurred in the early hours of May 2 on southbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 28, authorities reported.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Muniz was riding a black Honda VT750 Shadow motorcycle when he lost control and veered off his lane. The motorcycle entered the right paved shoulder and collided with the St. Rose Parkway overpass.

The impact caused the motorcycle to flip and come to a stop on its left side. Emergency responders transported Muniz to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries more than a week later.

His passing marks the 29th traffic-related death in Nevada for the year, according to state police.
