Fatal Fort Worth, Texas shooting death of Alvion Ferrell Norris – Obituary

Alvion Ferrell Norris, 21, was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred just before 3:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Carmel Avenue.

 

According to Fort Worth Police, three individuals were sitting inside a parked vehicle when a suspect approached them and exchanged a few words. The suspect then pulled out a firearm and began shooting into the car. One of the victims, later identified as Norris, tried to flee on foot but collapsed near the scene. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

 

The two other individuals inside the car managed to drive themselves to the hospital, though their identities and current conditions have not yet been made public.

 

Authorities say the suspect fled the area on foot following the shooting. As of now, the investigation remains active, with the Fort Worth Police homicide unit continuing to pursue leads in the case.

 

Norris’ death has left a community in mourning as investigators work to piece together the events that led to the deadly encounter.
