Fatal northeast Edmonton homicide death of Evander Saddleback – Obituary
Evander Saddleback, 30, passed away following a violent attack in northeast Edmonton that police have classified as a homicide. Early on the morning of May 16, at approximately 12:45 a.m., emergency responders discovered Saddleback unconscious near the intersection of 118 Avenue and 87 Street. He was immediately taken to the hospital with critical injuries but died four days later on May 20.
An autopsy conducted on May 22 revealed that Saddleback succumbed to a blunt force trauma to the head. Authorities are actively seeking any video footage from the area between 9 p.m. on May 15 and 1 a.m. on May 16 to aid in their investigation.
