Juan Demetri Jimenez dies in fatal Montgomery pedestrian accident

Fatal Montgomery pedestrian accident death of Juan Demetri Jimenez – Obituary

Juan Demetri Jimenez, 18, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on the evening of May 24 in Montgomery. The incident happened around 8:42 p.m. on the service road of the 900 block of East South Boulevard, between Norman Bridge Road and Narrow Lane Road.

 

Montgomery police officers arrived at the scene to find Jimenez deceased and another pedestrian critically injured. The second victim was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

 

Authorities have arrested and charged two drivers in connection with the incident. Keona Jarrett, 28, and Deondra Williams, 34, both of Montgomery, are facing felony charges for leaving the scene of an accident. They are currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

 

Investigators are continuing to piece together the events that led to the deadly collision.
